Gia and I do a lot of Broker Price Opinions (BPO’s) for the Banks and part and parcel of the research we do involves looking at MLS comparable sales and the related listing content that Real Esate Agents write, particularly in the Broker Comments areas. Well, this got Gia and I thinking… we should share a few of the more lighthearted things we see and read that Agents put in their MLS listings, because when it all comes down to it, we should all be able to take a step back and laugh at ourselves from time to time…

So, Here are a few gems that we came across recently that we thought would be fun to share with you…Agent’s names have been withheld for reputation preservation sake

“This is not a short sale, repeat not a short sale” (I think we got that the first time…but thank you!)

“Show this one, it will sell itself” (You mean it talks too?  COOL!)

“Condo…go down 7 floors to living room” (You’re kidding, right?!)

“2nd bedroom is on the third level with its own bathroom downstairs” (anyone else confused?!)

“Spacious condo updated & charming. Move right in!!” (you mean we don’t need to sign anything?!)

“Condo. Great floor plan. Like a home” (no comment )

“A tall person can almost see the ocean on a clear day” (trying to find the positive here … not easy)

“Walk-in closet in bedroom overlooks lake & gardens” (you mean the closet has a view?!)

“Cozy room with wall to wall closet and easy access to bathroom” (just in case you feel the urge to go in the closet )

“Single family home, 3 bedrooms 0 bathrooms” (well, that ain’t gonna work…what happens if we gotta go? Please explain the process.)

…better yet… “0 bedrooms, 0 bathrooms, 0 square feet under air, single family home, priced just right. Some TLC needed” (…and what exactly are we selling here? Oh, yes…and no pictures either)

“Unreal views of an ultra gorgeous lake” (well said…very compelling)
